In a setting that combines futuristic elements with a landscape resembling a moon crater, I had the opportunity to photograph EightyFive’s largest collection of 2023: “The Spirit.”
My approach to this campaign was to use the stark, otherworldly backdrop to emphasize the modernity and innovation of the collection. The use of natural light and minimalistic composition enhances the rugged textures and sleek silhouettes of the garments. The models are positioned to convey confidence and individuality, standing out vividly against the neutral, expansive background. Each image is carefully composed to balance the futuristic setting with the detailed craftsmanship of the clothing. By employing a shallow depth of field, I highlighted the intricate designs and high-quality fabrics, while the wide shots capture the dramatic interplay between the models and the surreal landscape.
This series aims to create a visual narrative that blends adventure with sophistication, showcasing not just the collection, but also my photographic style that focuses on clarity, contrast, and the seamless integration of subject and setting.
